The Balance of the Seas is fast approaching; it is its 100th anniversary since the great Master Azrael set in motion the ritual. Mythicos, Nefarious, Erythraeus, and Haesitatus are all searching for their representatives. The time is fast approaching and oddly enough no representative has been found. The Balance is in danger of failing, will you be one of the ones to help set it right?
Plot
The worlds ocean; worlds within a world. Each world held in delicate coexistence with the others. A balance although difficult to maintain was imperative for the existence of so many life forms. This balance was maintained by the master of the sea. The master of the sea maintained the balance by channeling Caeruleus; the very life force of the sea. This life force controls the tides, currents, temperature, and most importantly revitalizes the life forms that inhabit the sea. The master of the sea would travel to each corner of the world, maintaining the balance as they went.
As time passed the position of the Master of the sea would be passed down to the member of the Highborn family who could wield all four elements of Caeruleus. As kingdoms grew in each corner of the world un rest began to grow. While the sea maintained its balance; the coexistence of its inhabitants did not.
Azrael; the most renown and powerful Master went on an epic quest. Him and four legendary generals who hailed from each kingdom went in search for four ancient artifacts. A comb, a mirror, a harp, and a horn; these artifacts were a set of five. The last artifact being a glaive in which was passed down to each Master of the Sea, it was the artifact that bound them all. An epic adventure commenced and when all the artifacts were gathered Azrael channeled his full power into the four artifacts. Giving them each the ability to channel an element of Caeruleus. He gave his life and released the last remaining bits of his power into the sea; creating a spell in which the balance would only need to be renewed every decade by four individuals.
Thus this was the end of the era of the Masters; no longer needed. The ritual carried out by a chosen representative from each kingdom come forth to repeat the ritual every decade. Thus renewing the peace between kingdoms and the balance of the sea.
